The Stone's Story
The Egyptians ground azurite into the sacred blue of their eye paint, and a seer would draw a third eye on the forehead with it to deepen their vision. The ancient Chinese called it the Stone of Heaven, a portal between heaven and earth, while the Maya used it to reach for higher wisdom. Across these unconnected cultures, azurite carried a single meaning: the power to see clearly.
Formed Over Millions of Years
Azurite forms over thousands to millions of years where copper-rich waters react with stone near the earth's surface, the same conditions that create malachite, which it is often found beside. It comes from Morocco, Mexico, Namibia, Australia, and the American Southwest.
How to Wear & Care
Azurite is a soft stone that needs gentle care. Never cleanse it with water, as it contains copper, and keep it dry at all times. Avoid prolonged direct sun, which can soften its blue over time, and store it away from harder beads that could scratch it. To cleanse, rest it in moonlight or pass it gently through incense smoke.

XS fits wrists under 5 inches. S fits 5 to 6 inches. M fits 6 to 7 inches. L fits 7 to 8 inches. XL fits 8 to 9 inches.
