Tiger's Eye
Courage · Clarity · Power
Tiger's Eye is the stone for acting with both nerve and judgment. It is for the moment you need to make the call, hold your ground, or move on something while seeing it clearly, courage and clear sight in the same breath.
Bands of gold and deep brown run through it, and as it turns, a line of light slides across the surface like the eye it is named for. It looks alert, almost watchful.
Available in 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm round beads. This listing is for a single bracelet.
The Stone's Story
The Egyptians set Tiger's Eye into the eyes of their gods, believing it gave them the vision to watch over and protect. Roman soldiers carried it into battle for courage and shielding, a use noted in their military records. In China, where the tiger has symbolized power for millennia, it carried that same dual strength. Across cultures it has been the stone of those who must act, and see clearly while doing it.
Formed Over Millions of Years
Tiger's Eye forms over hundreds of millions of years as silica slowly replaces fibrous mineral within ancient iron formations, preserving the fibers that create its moving line of light. Most formed 2.5 to 3 billion years ago. The finest comes from South Africa, with deposits in Australia, India, and Namibia.
How to Wear & Care
Wear it daily or stack it with other stones. To cleanse, hold it under cool running water or rest it on a windowsill overnight. Avoid harsh chemicals and prolonged direct sun.
